In some countries it varies, but as a general rule, it is between 18 and 30 years. If you turn 31 once you have applied for a visa, you will have no problem, you will be able to travel anyway. There are some countries where it is extended to 35 years of age.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION

A copy of your passport pages. This should show the details of your information, including the date of issue and expiration date of your passport.

  • Your birth certificate must show your full name and the names of both parents. If you are unable to provide a birth certificate, one of the following will be required:

    – Family records showing names and dates of birth.

    – Identity documents issued by a government authority.

    An official document certifying your identity issued by a court of law.

  • The photos must be:

    – The final size of the photo frame should be at least 35 mm x 45 mm.

    – Photographs should show a full frontal view of the head and the top of the shoulders, with the face in the center of the photograph.

    – Digital dimensions are often expressed in pixels or DPI (dots per inch).

    – The physical dimensions in pixels must be at least 420 x 540.

You need a copy of your criminal record, in the country of residence and of the countries in which you have resided in the last 10 years.

BENEFITS OF OBTAINING A WORKING HOLIDAY

  • Stay: Stay up to 12 months in the country from the date of arrival, in some cases longer.
  • Multi-entry: Once you have entered the country and your visa has been activated, you can enter and leave the country as many times as you wish.
  • Work: You can work during the time of your stay.
  • Studies: You can study for a maximum of 6 months.
  1. You go to the official Immigration website to check your eligibility for the WHV. Select “Check your eligibility”.
  2. The page will give you a code that you must save. You will need it later.
  3. Go to the Immigration page. Select “Continue to GCKey”.
  4. If you have already created your MyCIC account, in “Sign In” you enter your username and password, otherwise you create an account.
  5. Fill in the form with the information as it is in your passport.
  6. Once you submit everything, a new screen will appear saying “Congratulations”.
  7. Make the visa payment.
  8. Now it is time to wait for the invitation to the pool to be sent to you.
  9. Upload the requested documents.
  10. Once they send you the invitation, upload the requested documents and you will probably be asked for the Biometrics.
  11. Once you do the biometric data, if everything is correct, they will send you the visa.

This visa is priced at CAN 261.

The Working Holiday, it is advisable to apply for it at the time of the opening of the deadlines, which is usually in January. Please note that the government grants visas on a first-come, first-served basis and there are a limited number of visas that vary from country to country.

You can stay for one year in Canada with a Working Holiday. Once your visa is granted, you have 12 months to enter Canada and use your visa. You must activate your visa as soon as you enter the country. In case you do not use the visa one year after it is granted, your visa will no longer be valid and this time limit will not be extended.

You cannot stay longer on a Working Holiday. However, you may be eligible for a visitor visa that will extend your stay in Canada, but you must show convincing evidence of why you need to stay to qualify for a visitor visa.

No, your family members cannot apply to join your visa. In case you have dependent children, it would also not be possible for them to join.

You are allowed to study for six months with a Working Holiday. In case your study program lasts longer, you must apply for a student visa.

You can travel as much as necessary, but keep in mind that time spent outside Australia counts towards your one-year validity period.
